If I bat higher, my nose will bleed:-

Wood said – Happy to be the man of the match. The boys’ palms are sweaty. It was tough to bat against some of the best bowlers in the world.

This is the first time that I have won England with the bat. That’s why I am very happy. If I bat higher then my nose will bleed. So definitely the number should not be more than 9.

Wood further said – I was feeling a good rhythm. Tried to run as fast as I could.

I was happy to score 24 off 8. Will see how I get on, but will do everything possible to be prepared.
