WPL 2023 Eliminator: Mitchell Starc: UP captain Alyssa Healy celebrates birthday with fellow players. The eliminator match will be played between Mumbai Indians and UP Warriors (MI vs UP) in the Women’s Premier League today.

UP captain Alyssa Healy celebrated her birthday with her teammates before the match. She is accompanied by her husband Mitchell Starc, who was on a tour of India for the cricket series.

Mitchell Starc came on India tour for Border Gavaskar Trophy and ODI series. He had a stellar performance in ODIs, helping Australia beat India 2-1 in the series.

Stark took a total of 8 wickets in the series. Australian players have joined their respective IPL teams after the series, however Starc has stayed back in India despite not playing in the IPL.

Mitchell Starc’s wife Alyssa Healy is captaining the UP Warriors in the Women’s Premier League. UP Warriors reached the playoffs of the tournament.

On Friday, the team has a match with Mumbai Indians, this is an eliminator match, the winning team will have a title match with Delhi Capitals on 26 March.

Before the match, UP Warriors celebrated the birthday of Captain Alyssa Healy. Everyone wished their captain a happy birthday.

Mumbai Indians were on top from the start but faltered at the end of the group stage and came second.

The UP team has great players, it finished third in the points table. The team had a great performance in the last matches of the group stage. The last time the teams met, UP defeated Mumbai by 5 wickets.
