MLC 2023: Kolkata Knight Riders Entrusted Big Responsibility To Sunil Narine
MLC 2023: West Indies all-rounder Sunil Narine has been entrusted with a big responsibility by Kolkata Knight Riders. Made the captain of this star-studded team.
Team Los Angeles Knight Riders Command:-
KKR has handed over the command of its team Los Angeles Knight Riders to Sunil Narine in the Major Premier League.

The USA-based tournament will be played from July 14 to 31 across two venues, with six teams in the fray.
This includes MI New York, San Francisco Unicorns, Seattle Orcas, Texas Super Kings and Washington Freedom.
Star-Studded team
Narine and his Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) teammate Andre Russell are the two big names to join the MLC for LA Knight Riders.
Other key stars in the Knight Riders squad include Lockie Ferguson, Jason Roy, Rilee Rossouw, Martin Guptill, and Adam Zampa.
Sunil Naren expressed happiness:-
Expressing his happiness on being appointing captain, the veteran spinner said that he always wanted to represent the Knight Riders in any league.
With a number of experienced players in the squad, the 35-year-old is hopeful that they can build on a successful debut season.
On July 14, the Knight Riders will begin their MLC campaign against the Texas Super Kings, co-owned by the Chennai Super Kings, at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas.

Sunil Narine said after becoming the captain that “I have always talked about how I want to represent the Knight Riders wherever they play.
We’ve talked about coming to the United States for a long time and I’m glad it’s finally happening. As the captain of this team, I am looking forward to every challenge.

Phil Simmons appointed bowling coach:-
Apart from this, former West Indies cricketer Phil Simmons has been named the head coach of LA Knight Riders.
He will be assisting in the MLC by KKR bowling coach Bharat Arun, assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate, and team analyst AR Srikkanth in the Indian Premier League.
