Mohammed Shami Will Be Honored With Arjun Award On January 9
In the year 2023, Mohammed Shami’s magic worked a lot, now he is going to get a big honor in the game. Mohammed Shami will be honored with the Arjun Award on 9 January. The National Sports Award given every year by the Government of India has been announced.
The 26 Players Have Been Selected For This Award:-
Indian cricket team’s star fast bowler Mohammed Shami has been selected for the Arjuna Award. 26 players have been selected for this award, one of which is Shami’s name.

The National Sports Award Will Be Given To All The Players At Rashtrapati Bhavan:-
Apart from Shami, badminton star pair Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy will also be honored with this award. At the beginning of the new year, on January 9, 2024, the National Sports Award will be giving to all the players at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Those players are selecting for this award. Whose performance is assessed and recommended. After this, the Sports Ministry announces who will be given this award or not. It is presented by His Excellency the President to the players who are selected for the award.
Shami Was The Highest Wicket-Taker in World Cup 2023:-
Mohammed Shami has bowled amazingly in the year 2023, his performance in every tournament has been amazing. Mohammed Shami was the highest wicket-taker in the World Cup 2023 and he took 24 wickets in just 7 matches. During this tournament, Shami took 5 or more wickets thrice.
Till now, 47 cricketers have received the Arjuna Award, in which the Arjuna Award is a big honor in the game for any cricketer. So far 47 Indian cricketers have received the Arjun Award.
