New Zealand’s Devon Conway Tests Positive For COVID-19

New Zealand batsman Devon Conway has tested positive for COVID-19 after taking a PCR test on his arrival in London on Wednesday.

Five days of isolation before the final Test:-

Conway has begun five-day isolation ahead of the third and final Test, which will be playing at Headingley from June 23 to 27.

Apart from Conway, all-rounder Michael Bracewell and two members of the New Zealand support staff have also tested positive for COVID-19 and have started their isolation.

“Conway underwent a PCR test upon arrival in London on Wednesday evening in preparation for team activity.

To Test Positive on Wednesday:-

He was joining as a member of the Tour party along with all-rounder Michael Bracewell and support staff personnel Vijay Vallabh (Physio) and Chris Donaldson (Strength and Conditioning). to test positive on Wednesday,” New Zealand Cricket said in its official release.

“The trio will travel to Leeds separately from the team on Sunday and. As expected, will be able to join the squad for training at Headingley on Tuesday before the final Test on Thursday.” The statement said.
