Pakistan have announced their squad for the home Test against New Zealand, with one uncapped batsman getting a call-up for the retired Azhar Ali.
Ali started against New Zealand on 26 December:-
Hasan Ali returned to Pakistan’s Test squad for the two-match home series against New Zealand starting on 26 December.

Uncapped middle-order batsman Kamran Ghulam has also been included in the squad in place of Azhar Ali, who retired after the third Test against England.
Injured himself while fielding in Test:-
Fast bowlers Mohammad Ali and Haris Rauf are missing from the squad for the series against England. While Rauf injured himself while fielding in the Rawalpindi Test, Ali was asked to participate in the ongoing Pakistan Cup.
Is a part of the ICC World Test Championship:-
The first Test of the series which is a part of the ICC World Test Championship begins in Karachi on 26 December. The action will shift to Multan for the second Test from January 3 before the three-match ODI series in Karachi.
