Pakistan Batsman Nahida Khan Announces Retirement From International Cricket

Pakistan Batsman Nahida Khan has announced her retirement from international cricket after a 14-year career for her country.

Making her debut in February 2009 against Sri Lanka, Nahida has represented Pakistan in three Cricket World Cups (2013, 2017, and 2022) and four T20 World Cups (2012, 2014, 2016, and 2018).

Nahida thanks her support Group:-

“I am grateful for the unwavering support I have received throughout my career. I would like to thank my family, teammates, coaches, and the Pakistan Cricket Board for their guidance and faith in my abilities.

Including the innings of 66 runs against Australia:-

Nahida scored over 2000 runs in international cricket, and has brought her bat to eight half-centuries, including an innings of 66 against Australia in Kuala Lumpur in 2018.

He also holds the record for most number of catches in an ODI innings with four. In the same year, the catch was taken in the victory over Sri Lanka in Dambulla.

Pakistan women’s cricket chief Tania Mallick says Nahida’s contribution to the game in the country has left it in a better position than it was when she started.

Nahida has already moved into coaching, with experience as an assistant in Pakistan domestic cricket.
