PCB Chairman: Shahid Afridi wanted to remove Babar Azam from the captaincy. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Najam Sethi has made a big disclosure.
Afridi wanted to remove Azam from the captaincy:-
He told that the interim selection committee headed by Shahid Afridi wanted to remove Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam from the captaincy.

This selection committee was formed to select the team for the home series against New Zealand this year.
Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Najam Sethi said on a YouTube that I do not take a big decision like changing the captain, for this I talk to trusted people, take their opinion.
An interim selection committee was formed under the chairmanship of Afridi:-
Najam Sethi was appointing as the PCB chairman after Rameez Raja stepped down. After this, Najam formed an interim selection committee under the chairmanship of Shahid Afridi. Abdul Razzaq, Haroon Rashid, and Iftikhar Anjum were including in this committee.
Najam Sethi said while talking to YouTube channel. We had formed a selection committee, he had said even before taking charge that he wanted some changes in the team.

It was also asking to change the captain. However, as soon as this committee was appointing. He said that there is no need to remove Babar Azam from the captaincy now.
