PM Modi Laid The Foundation Stone, Sachin Gavaskar, And Shastri Reached Varanasi For The Program
PM Modi laid the foundation stone, Sachin Gavaskar, Shastri had reached Varanasi for the program. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday (September 23) laid the foundation stone of the first international cricket stadium to be built in Varanasi.
The BCCI President Roger Binny At The Event:-
Many celebrities including BCCI President Roger Binny, Vice President Rajeev Shukla, Secretary Jai Shah, and veteran cricketers Sachin Tendulkar and Ravi Shastri attended the event.

Great Indian cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Ravi Shastri, Sunil Gavaskar, and Dilip Vengsarkar had reached Varanasi in the morning for the foundation stone laying ceremony of Varanasi International Cricket Stadium.
Prime Minister Narendra laid the foundation stone of the International Cricket Stadium in Varanasi. Uttar Pradesh at around 3 pm.
Uttar Pradesh Government To Spend Rs 121 Crore On Land Acquisition:-
The construction of the International Cricket Stadium in Varanasi will cost around Rs 450 crore. Out of which the Uttar Pradesh government will spend Rs 121 crore on land acquisition. While the BCCI will spend Rs 330 crore for this.
The design of the stadium that has come out is very beautiful. And the architecture of the stadium is inspired by Lord Shiva.
The Developed Designs Of Bell-Shaped Metal Sheets On The Facade:-
Designs of crescent-shaped roof covers, trident-shaped floodlights, seating arrangements based on the Ganga ghat and belpatra-shaped metal sheets on the façade have been developed. The capacity of the stadium will be 30,000 spectators.
Veteran players like Tendulkar, Gavaskar, Shastri, and Vengsarkar were present in the foundation stone laying ceremony.
