IND vs AUS Test 2023: Rahul Dravid praised Rohit Sharma after the second test. Dravid said – It was lucky to hand over the captaincy to Rohit.

Excellent Performance, won by 6 wickets:-

In the second test played against Australia in Delhi (IND vs AUS Delhi Test), India performed well and won by 6 wickets (IND vs AUS Test).

Praising Rohit’s captaincy after retaining the Bodar-Gavaskar trophy with a six-wicket win over Australia in the second Test in Delhi on Sunday, Dravid said Rohit respects Sharma and the entire team.

“He is one of those guys who has been there for a long time. The kind of person who doesn’t speak much, but when he does, everyone listens.”

Dravid further said, “He cares a lot about the dressing room and the players. We are very fortunate that Rohit has taken over the captaincy from someone like Virat.

Dravid said after the match. Captain Rohit lauded the spin duo of Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin for finishing the job for India.

IND vs AUS: Rohit Sharma was named captain of Team India in January 2021 after Virat Kohli stepped down as India’s Test captain following the series loss in South Africa.
