Ravi Shastri furious at KKR – Andre Russell is not a Superman who will give victory every time, Ravi Shastri has fiercely criticized Kolkata Knight Riders.

The former Team India coach insisted that Andre Russell is no superman who will take the team out hard every time and perform every time the expectation is there.

Shastri said these things before Kolkata Knight Riders’ do-or-die match against Mumbai Indians. He said ahead of Monday’s match that the two-time champion team is more dependent than expected on the Caribbean player.

The Kolkata team seems to be in a lot of trouble at the moment. The team has lost six of its last seven matches.

In this match, Andre Russell did amazing fast batting. The right-handed player had scored 45 runs in just 19 balls. However, the rest of the batsmen had failed, due to which Kolkata had to bear the brunt.

In a conversation with ESPNcricinfo, Shastri was asked how useful Andre Russell is for Kolkata. Responding to this, Shastri said, ‘Russell is a very important player for Kolkata.

However, it is now looking very difficult for the team to reach the last four. Russell has played his part this season.

The rest of the players should also show their game now. He is not the Superman who will make you win every match. Other players also have to do something. Andre Russell has already done what he was supposed to perform.

Andre Russell is counted among the most aggressive all-rounders in the world. Russell, however, has been under question about consistency. He had to face a lot of troubles in the last two years.
