Ravindra Jadeja Injury: Ravindra Jadeja Not Included in New Zealand Series Despite Passing Fitness Test At NCA. The Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) and the selectors themselves are not sure whether Ravindra Jadeja is fit or unfit.
Ravindra Jadeja had passed the fitness test in NCA and he was also ready to return from the ODI series against New Zealand (IND vs NZ). But the selectors did not include him in the series despite all this.

The reason for this is also being said that even after passing Ravindra Jadeja Fitness, the NCA physio did not issue him clearance. The selectors feel that he still needs to be 100 percent fit before making a comeback.
On Friday, the selection committee headed by Chetan Sharma announced three teams at once. In this, Jadeja has got a place only in the first two Tests against Australia starting next month. There is also a condition that the all-rounder will have to pass the fitness test.
A BCCI official told Sport, “Jadeja passed the preliminary fitness test. But the NCA still believes that he is still not 100 percent fit.
Given his niggling injuries in the past, the selectors don’t want to rush his comeback. The Australia series is much more important than the New Zealand series, that’s why he was not included in the squad for the limited overs series.”
Ravindra Jadeja Injury: Talking about the recent situation, Jadeja is still officially unfit. Jadeja has returned to the NCA for further fitness tests after being ruled out of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka series.
Earlier, the NCA physio felt that he was still not 100 percent fit. Meanwhile, he will still be in rehabilitation.
Also, there is talk of him playing a Ranji Trophy match for Saurashtra before returning to the Indian team. However, it is certain that the selectors will take a call only after his final fitness test.
The official further said that, hopefully, he will be fine by the Australia series. He is an important member of the Test and ODI teams.
So we didn’t include him in the New Zealand series because we didn’t want to put him at risk. As far as Ranji is concerned, it is up to the selectors and the NCA whether he should get some match practice or not.
