Ravindra Jadeja was continuously participating in the election campaign, of course his wife was standing in it but his popularity definitely affected this seat.
Jadeja was also engaged in campaigning from day one. He had decided to pull out of the ODI series against Bangladesh citing his injury.

Jadeja wrote with this photo – Hello MLA, you really deserve it. The people of Jamnagar won. I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart. He has written Jai Mata Di, assuring that the work will be good in Jamnagar.
Jadeja was with his wife from day one:-
In front of Rivaba Jadeja from Jamnagar North were her sister-in-law and father-in-law, who were campaigning for the Congress candidate. Ravindra Jadeja was with his wife from day one, and was arriving at rallies and meetings.
However, after voting there was a statement from both the sides that there is no fight in the family, rather it is a fight of ideology. In this fight, Jadeja’s wife Rivaba Jadeja won.
The Congress candidate stood third in the results. Rivaba’s statement also came after this victory, and she thanked the workers, calling it a victory for the workers.
