IND vs SA Series 2023: Rinku Singh worried before the South Africa series, and he himself told the reason. The Indian cricket team is ready to compete on its first foreign tour after the ICC ODI World Cup. Team India will play a three-match T20 series with South Africa from Sunday, December 10.

Indian middle-order batsman Rinku Singh believes that extra effort and practice will be required considering the extra pace and bounce of South African pitches.

Team India is on its first foreign tour after the ICC ODI World Cup. India has to play a series against South Africa in all three formats. The tour will start with 3 T20s and then there will be an ODI series of the same number of matches.
Rinku Said About South Africa’s Pitch
Team India will end this tour with 2 test matches. After the first practice session of the Indian team, Rinku said about the South African pitch, “When I batted here, there was more bounce than the Indian wickets. The pace is higher, so more practice will have to be done against fast bowling.
The Indian team will play its first T20 match against South Africa on Sunday. Rinku will come out to bat at number five or six. He said that head coach Rahul Dravid has asked him to play his natural game.

He told BCCI TV, “I enjoyed the first session a lot because the weather was good. It was a pleasant feeling to get a chance to play with Rahul Dravid, sir. He told me to keep batting in my style and have confidence in myself.
Rinku said that playing at number five or six since 2013 gave her the confidence to carry out the same responsibility for India.

He said, “I have been playing at number five or six for Uttar Pradesh since 2013, so I am used to it. It is difficult to play in this order after falling four-five wickets but I have confidence in myself. The more control I play, the better I will be able to play.”
