Rishabh Pant Health Update: Rishabh Pant’s Health Has Improved And will be Discharged From The Hospital This Week. There is good news for the fans of the Indian cricket team and Rishabh Pant.

The health of the batsman has improved a lot now:-

Because the health of the wicketkeeper-batsman has now improved a lot and Pant (Rishabh Pant IPL 2023) will be discharged from Kokilaben Hospital this week.

Pant is hospitalized after the horrific accident on 30 December (Rishabh Pant Accident). But now after staying in the hospital for a month, he is ready to go home (Rishabh Pant Return Date).

A senior BCCI official told Sport on Sunday, “He is doing very well. This is good news from the medical team. The first surgery was successful and that’s what everyone wanted to hear. He will be discharged this week.”

All three ligaments of Pant’s right knee were torn:-

After coming home, Pant will have to go to the hospital again as he will undergo surgery on his other knee. All the three ligaments of Pant’s right knee were torn in the accident on the Delhi-Dehradun highway.

The officer said, “He will require another surgery in about a month. The doctor will decide when it is appropriate to perform another surgery.

The BCCI medical team is in constant touch with Dr. Pardiwala and the hospital. We are hopeful that he will be back on the field soon.”

Rishabh Pant’s recovery timeline:-

December 30: Pant met with a fatal accident while on his way from Delhi to Roorkee to see his mother. His Mercedes SUV caught fire and he was rescued by two good people.

December 30: Due to scratches and cuts on the forehead, he was taken to the nearest competent hospital for first aid. He also sustained injuries on his wrist and knee.

December 30: After first aid, Pant was shifted to Max Dehradun for further treatment.

January 4: BCCI admits Rishabh to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital to avoid crowd in Dehradun.

January 4: Pant was treated by the BCCI medical team along with Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala.

January 7: Rishabh Pant undergoes surgery on his PCL and MCL under the guidance of Dr. Pardiwala.

January 16: Rishabh posts the first picture of his recovery from Kokilaben Hospital.

Pant’s return to the cricket field depends on his rehab. After the second surgery, Pant will take around 4-5 months to recover completely. After that he will start his rehabilitation and training.

A senior BCCI official told Sport, “We are not even thinking about his return right now. The focus is on his recovery. It is too early to say when he will make a comeback.

As per his latest medical report, it will take 8-9 months. But we are hoping that he will be fit by the time of the World Cup. But that seems very unlikely.”
