India captain Rohit Sharma and fast bowler Navdeep Saini have been ruled out of the upcoming Dhaka Test. Because Rohit is suffering from a thumb injury during the ODI series in Bangladesh. Rohit is currently recuperating in Mumbai. Pacer Saini has also been ruled out due to an abdominal strain.

Rohit was out with a thumb injury during the ODI series in Bangladesh
In the second ODI, Rohit’s thumb was injured while fielding in the slips. And he was sent home immediately with the aim of at least preparing him for the second Test. A post-incident scan revealed a dislocation that required some stitches.
His medical examination is next week
Rohit’s injury is healing well but is still considered risky considering India is scheduled to play cricket in the next two months. He is likely to undergo a medical examination next week.

A BCCI statement sent on Tuesday said that Saini will report to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru “for further management of his injury”.
With Saini out, India’s pace reserves have suffered another blow in Bangladesh.
With Rohit unavailable, KL Rahul will continue to lead India, with Cheteshwar Pujara as his deputy.
The Indian team reached Dhaka on Monday morning after hoisting the flag of victory in Chattogram in the opening session of the final day on Sunday. They are being given two training sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday in the lead-up to the second Test at the Shere-Bangla Stadium.
