Smriti Mandhana Excited About The Prospect Of Women’s IPL Coming Up Next Year, many questions were asked about the women’s version, and sure enough.
President Sourav Ganguly announced:-
BCCI President Sourav Ganguly announced that the Women’s IPL will be held from 2023. The news left fans across the country excited to see that women cricketers will now play the IPL and not the Women’s T20 Challenge.

The women’s IPL will be holding in 2023 and the board has now reportedly set a window for the much-awaited competition in March.
Talking about the same, Star India batsman Smriti Mandhana giving an epic response after being asked the question of ‘Women’s IPL coming next year’ during The Hundred competition.
Mandhana scored 46 runs in 25 balls in a 12-run victory:-
After the match between the Oval Invincibles and Southern Brave at Kennington Oval, where Mandhana scored 46 off 25 balls in the latter’s 12-run victory.
A journalist had asked her, “With the Women’s IPL coming up next year, can we expect the same kind of excitement at home as well?”
Mandhana’s response to the question was simply epic and she later replying, “I think whenever we play there is a lot of excitement at home irrespective of the format.
Women’s IPL will be awesome:-
Indian fans love cricket and they come to support us regardless of ODI. T20. So the women’s IPL will be great.”
Although many asked for a full-fledged IPL for women cricketers. Ganguly and BCCI secretary Jay Shah indicated a women’s IPL in 2023.

Ganguly had said, “We are at the stage of fully preparing to make the WIPL. It is definitely going to happen.’
“I firmly believe that next year i.e. 2023 will be a very good time to start a full women’s IPL. Which will be as big and grand success as men’s IPL.”
