The Deployed a 19-Member team for the series:-

Sri Lanka Women had deployed a 19-Member squad for the India series but Satya Sandipani, Kaushani Nuthyangana, Hansima Karunaratne, and Tharika Sewandi have been dropped from the Commonwealth Games 2022 as the group now has 15 players.

Although Sri Lanka’s run against India did not go as they had hoped, their decisive victory in the third T20I of the series gave them optimism that they can succeed on the global stage.

A notable Performance by all-rounder Kavisha Dilhari:-

Once again Chamari Athapaththu will lead the team. Additionally, Sri Lanka will be hoping that promising all-rounder Kavisha Dilhari will deliver a remarkable performance.

Some other important players in the team are Inoka Ranveer and Oshadi Ranasinghe, who were in good touch against India.

The Same would be Expected:-

Both the spinners have scored match-winning spells in the past and something similar will be expected from them.

While Athapaththu will continuing his position as an opener, Vishmi Gunarathne is expected to open the innings with him.

16 games including the final will be playing over 10 days and Sri Lanka will be parting of Group B along with hosts England, New Zealand, and South Africa.
