According to Cricbuzz, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah says Dravid can re-apply if he wants to. The decision is totally up to him! Shah also mentioned that the new Head Coach will have a say in picking the rest of the coaching staff, like batting, bowling, and fielding coaches.
It’s anyone’s game! The new coach could even be from overseas!
The BCCI might be considering a whole new coaching structure. Imagine – a separate coach for Test matches, ODIs, and T20s! This is already happening in England and Pakistan, and India might be next.
