ICC World Cup 2023: The BCCI Assures Visa Clearance To Pakistan Team. ODI World Cup 2023 will be organized in India in October.

Pakistan team’s visa approval will be given by Indian government:-

For this, the BCCI has assured the International Cricket Council (ICC) that the visa approval of the Pakistan team will be given by the Government of India.

According to some reports, the Indian government opting to clear the visa means that the Pakistan team can come to India and take part in the tournament.

At the same time, exciting cricket matches are seen between these two arch-rival countries. Earlier both the teams met in last year’s Asia Cup and T20 World Cup.

But India will organize ICC World Cup 2023 due to which Pakistan cricket team will come to India this time.

The BCCI and PCB Hosting Asia Cup:-

At present, the BCCI and PCB are at loggerheads over the hosting of the Asia Cup and India’s participation in it.

Where BCCI has made it clear that Rohit Sharma & Co. will not tour Pakistan (hosts of Asia Cup). On the other hand, for the Asia Cup, BCCI has opted to play at another venue.

Earlier, the PCB threatened to pull out of the ICC World Cup if India did not go to Pakistan to play in the Asia Cup 2023.

At the ICC’s quarterly meetings in Dubai last week, the BCCI assured that the Pakistan team’s visas would be cleared by the Indian government.

The Likely to start from 5th October:-

The upcoming 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup, which will be entirely hosted by India for the first time. Likely to start on 5th October and end on 19th November.

According to ESPNcricinfo, the BCCI has shortlisted at least a dozen venues for the mega cricket event.

Which includes Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Dharamshala, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Indore, Mumbai, and Rajkot. At the same time, there will be a total of 48 matches in 46 days in the tournament.
