India’s New T20 Coach: The BCCI is seriously considering appointing a new coach for India’s T20 team. Team India’s head coach Rahul Dravid is going to be discharged soon?

The ‘Seriously considering’ appointment of coach:-

According to information from the Board of Cricket in India (BCCI) headquarters in Mumbai, the board is ‘seriously considering the appointment of a separate coach for India’s T20 set-up.

According to a source on the board, the new coaching set-up for the Indian T20 team can be announced in January itself.

This means that India will play T20 series (IND vs SL T20 Series) against Sri Lanka in January under the new captain and new coach.

The sport had already reported that Hardik Pandya will be officially appointed as India’s new T20 captain ahead of the series against Sri Lanka.

Now a top BCCI official has confirmed to Sport that the board is also interested in appointing a new coach for the Indian T20 team. In all likelihood, the new coach will work closely with Rahul Dravid.

Under this, Dravid will mainly focus on the ODI and Test teams, while a separate coaching set-up is being considered for T20s. At the same time, the top BCCI official also confirmed.

“We are seriously considering it. More than the ability of Rahul Dravid or anyone, it is a question of managing a busy schedule and having specialist skills on board.

Like A tight Calendar And Regular Events:-

T20 is like a different game now, tough calendar and regular events. We also need to embrace change. Yes, I can confirm – India will have a new T20 coaching set-up very soon.”

Both Ravi Shastri and Harbhajan Singh had earlier suggested that India should have a separate coach and captain for the T20 set-up.

During that time Harbhajan Singh had said. “Somebody who has played the game recently is better suiting for a coaching job in T20.

I am not saying that you should remove Rahul from T20. Ashish and Rahul can work together to prepare this team for the 2024 World Cup.

Also, Shastri had said, “I think there is no harm in having a new captain. New coach for T20 cricket because the scope of cricket is so vast. It is never easy for one person to play or manage all three formats of the game.” Will not be done.”

Change in captaincy will be announced soon:-

• T20 Cricket: Hardik Pandya is to be officially announcing as India’s captain ahead of the Sri Lankan series.
• ODI Cricket: Rohit Sharma will take over ODI captaincy till 2023 World Cup.
• Test captaincy: Rohit Sharma will continue to be India’s captain at least till the current WTC cycle.
