The Big Blow To England, Jack Leach Out Of Second Test Match

IND vs ENG 2nd Test Series 2024: England got a big blow, Jack Leach was out of the second test match. A 5-match test series is being played between India and England. The second match of the series will be played on 2 February in Visakhapatnam.

After Winning The Match, The England Team is Ahead 1-0 in The Series:-

After winning the first match, the England team is ahead 1-0 in the series. Now before the second test match, the England team has suffered a big blow.

Star spin bowler Jack Leach has been ruled out of the Visakhapatnam Test. Captain Ben Stokes gave this information.

Jack Leach bowled brilliantly in the Hyderabad Test, even though he took fewer wickets, he did a good job of putting pressure on the Indian batsmen. He suffered a knee injury during the first test match.

England Team Captain Ben Stokes Told:-

Due to this Jack Leach will no longer be a part of the playing eleven in the Visakhapatnam Test. Giving information on Sky Sports, England team captain Ben Stokes said that unfortunately, Jack Leach will be out of the second test match due to a knee injury.

Stokes further said that at present Jack Leach is under the supervision of the medical team, his injury is not very serious. Jack will be joining us soon. Jack Leach already had knee problems.

Jack Had Bowled Only 10 Overs in The Second Innings Of The Hyderabad Test:-

Even during the first match, he was not made to bowl much. Jack had bowled only 10 overs in the second innings of the Hyderabad Test. During this, he took an important wicket of Shreyas Iyer.

England’s young spin bowler Shoaib Bashir could not play in the Hyderabad Test due to a visa dispute. But later Shoaib reached India.

Now it is expected that Shoaib Bashir will be seen playing in place of Jack Leach in the second test match. If this happens then Shoaib Bashir will make his test debut against the Indian team.
