We were in a very strong position, but England batsman Ollie Pope played a brilliant inning and took England to a good target.

We could have got an easy target to chase, but because of Pope, the target became bigger. Dravid further said that when we were batting in the first innings.

Then the pitch was good for batting, we could have scored 70 more runs in the first innings, but in the third day’s play, we could score only 15 runs.

Praising The Young Players, Rahul Said:-

Rahul Dravid further said that Team India played well, but we need to play better. Three of our batsmen scored half-centuries, but not a single player could score a century. Praising the young players, Rahul said that there are many such young players on the team.

He mostly plays white ball cricket, hence he does not have much experience in Tests. However, players have been able to make it to the main team only after performing well for India A. In such a situation, it will take time for the young players to adapt to this condition.

Dravid has also praised India’s spin bowlers. He said that all three spinners of India are bowling well and will make a comeback in the next match.
