The IDFC Bank became the title sponsor of Team India for 3 years. Will give 4.2 crores for every match. IDFC has acquired the rights for Rs 4.2 crore per international match, which is 60 lakh more than the previous price of Rs 3.6 crore.
Acquired the right to be the title sponsor of the Indian team:-
India’s IDFC First Bank (IDFC) has acquired the rights to become the title sponsor of the Indian cricket team in the home international series of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

While the base price fixed by the BCCI to acquire the rights was Rs 2.4 crore. IDFC First Bank will tie up with the BCCI for three years starting next month.
It will include a total of 56 international matches:-
Which will start with a series of three ODIs against Australia. The deal will be extended until August 2026 and will cover a total of 56 international matches.
Due to this deal, BCCI is likely to get around Rs 1000 crore. IDFC managed to outbid Sony Sports during the bidding.
Apart from this, no other company participated in the auction. Now everyone’s eyes are set on which company gets the rights to broadcast the domestic matches of the Indian cricket team.

Team India’s schedule after the World Cup:-
After playing the home ODI series against Australia, the Indian team will play in the World Cup. At the same time, after this, Team India will play a T20 series against Australia and then in 2023, the team will also have to play a Test series of 5 matches against England at home.
