The New Zealand Names T20I Return As Captain For Series Against SL And PAK. New Zealand called up an experienced white-ball performer to play their first T20I since 2021 and a new-look captain for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka and Pakistan
Announced his T20I squad to take on Pakistan:-
New Zealand has announced their T20I squad to take on Sri Lanka at home and Pakistan in Pakistan with some new faces and several recalls.

Tom Latham will lead the New Zealand team on his return to the T20I squad after two years. Left-handed batsman, who has been in good form in ODIs.
He was identified as someone who could bat anywhere and play a variety of shots.
What Power And Range Of Shots Does Tom Have:-
βWe saw against India earlier this season the power and range of shots that Tom has,β said head coach Gary Stead.
βHis adaptability also means he can feature in a variety of batting positions.
βHe led an inexperienced T20 squad to Bangladesh in 2021 and we were really impressed with his leadership of that group during a COVID bubble tour.β
The squad also has a few other players in the form of Cole McConchie, Rachin Ravindra, and Tim Seifert, all of whom last played in this format sometime back.
