WPL 2023: The RCB Announces Coaching Staff For Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023. Royal Challengers Bangalore have appointed Ben Sawyer as the head coach of their women’s team for the Women’s Premier League.

RCB’s Director of Cricket Operations Mike Hesson gave this information through Twitter. Along with this, India’s tennis legend Sania Mirza has been appointed by RCB as its mentor.

Ben Sawyer is currently the coach of the New Zealand women’s cricket team. After which RCB has entrusted her with this responsibility in the Women’s Premier League.
Along with this, Malolan Rangarajan has been made the assistant coach of the women’s team and the head of scouting. So that’s where scout and fielding coach Vanitha VR has been made. The responsibility of batting coaching has been given to RX Murali.

WPL 2023: RCB field a star-studded squad in the Women’s Premier League auction. The team included Indian opener Smriti Mandhana, Australian all-rounder Ellyse Perry, England’s World Cup-winning captain Heather Knight, New Zealand captain Sophie Devine. Also, Smriti Mandhana was the costliest female player in the first auction, bought by RCB for Rs 3.4 crore.
RCB adds mentor to women’s team
At the same time, India’s legendary female tennis player Sania Mirza has been added by RCB as the mentor of its women’s team.
On this matter, Sania said, “It is a pleasure for me to join the RCB women’s team as a mentor.
Indian women’s cricket has seen a revolutionary change with the launch of the Women’s Premier League and I am really excited to be a part of this revolutionary pitch.”
