The opening ceremony of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 to be held in India will be held on October 4 at Narendra Modi Stadium (Motera) in Ahmedabad.

The first match of the World Cup will also be played between defending champions England and New Zealand on October 5 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad and the World Cup final will also be played in the same stadium on November 19.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the International Cricket Council (ICC) are busy making the opening ceremony of the World Cup grand.

A video of the preparations for the World Cup opening ceremony has surfaced, in which Ahmedabad-based Narendra Modi can be seen decorating for the event.

A mix of local tradition and cricket history can also be seen in the opening ceremony of the World Cup 2023 to be held on October 4.

But at present, no official statement has been issued by BCCI or ICC regarding the information related to this ceremony.

The ‘Captain’s Day Will Be Organizing At The World Opening’:-

According to reports, ICC and BCCI are making efforts to make the opening ceremony of the World Cup 2023 grand. It is believing that a glimpse of Indian culture and civilization will be seeing in the opening ceremony.

Besides, ‘Captain’s Day’ will also be organizing during this period, in which a photo session and briefing of the captains of all the 10 teams participating in the World Cup takes place.

According to reports, the World Cup opening ceremony is expecting to be short but glitzy, culminating in a cultural festival. The special attraction of the opening ceremony will be the captains of all the 10 participating teams.

The warm-up matches of the World Cup will start even before the opening ceremony, as 6 out of 10 teams have to participate in practice matches.
