All-Rounder Ravichandran Ashwin Included in The Team:-

Due to injured Akshar Patel not recovering on time, all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin has been included in the team.

Whereas Akshar was injured in the match against Bangladesh in the Super-4 stage of the Asia Cup. After which Ashwin recently performed well in the ODI series against Australia.

Akshar Patel had performed brilliantly in the match against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup. However, India lost this match.

In this match, Axar Patel was out of Team India after he suffered a muscle strain in his left hand.

The Last Date To Revise The Team For The World Cup:-

Only after this, the name of Ravi Ashwin or Washington Sundar was in discussion in place of Axar Patel in the World Cup. 28 September was the last date to revise the team for the World Cup.

Ravichandran Ashwin has made a strong comeback in the Indian ODI team. He was included as a replacement for Axar Patel in the series against Australia.

With this series, he made a comeback in ODI after 18 months. At the same time, the experienced slow bowler has also been a part of the World Cup 2011 winning team and World Cup 2015 team.

India’s first practice match will be played with England on 30 September. Whereas, the second match will be with the Netherlands on 3 October.
