IND vs AUS Test 2023: Travis Head reveals his strategy for the Test series against India. Will not play defensively, will play with a positive mindset.

Australia batsman Travis Head, inspired by the stupendous performance of England batsmen in Pakistan, will ditch his orthodox approach and adopt a dominant attack strategy in the upcoming Test series against India.

The four-Test series between India and Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy will begin on February 9.
According to the ‘Sydney Morning Herald’, before the Australian team left for India, Head said, “After watching the way England batted in Pakistan, I looked back and found that in the last series played in the subcontinent, I did not play as much.” Didn’t bat as positive as I wanted to be.
Will Play with a Positive mindset – Travis Head:-
He said, “The way I have played against spin in these series, I believe that if I play more positively, my footwork will be better and my defensive game will also be better. I know it will be completely different from playing in Australia.
Head said, “We tested it against fast bowlers this summer. I think my ‘front foot defence’ is good and I believe that I have to go there with a positive mindset, not a defensive one.
Travis Played in the last three series in Asia:-
Head played in the last three series in Asia. He played against Pakistan in 2018 and 2022 and in Sri Lanka last year. He scored only 213 runs in 11 innings in these series at an average of 21.30.
Head said, “I think in Pakistan and Sri Lanka I took a bit of a defensive approach. It is important to go out there and assess the pitch and understand your role.

There the match can be low-scoring or high scoring. You may have to make a big score sometimes or even a score of 40, 50, or 60 can win you.
