T20 World Cup 2024: Why does India need Kohli and Rohit in T20 World Cup 2024? Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan backed the inclusion of experienced Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli for the T20 World Cup 2024.
The Schedule Of The Upcoming World Cup Was Released On Friday:-
He said that the team needs the help of experienced players. The schedule of the upcoming World Cup, to be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and West Indies, was released on Friday.

Speaking on Star Sports, Pathan said that the team needs experienced players like Rohit Sharma and Kohli for the unknown pitches in the United States.
While the former Indian star admitted that the availability of both players will depend on the team management and their fitness, he has backed both players to play in the T20 World Cup, citing the Hitman’s form in ODI cricket.

Irfan Pathan said on Star Sports, “I would love to see Virat on the pitch because when we talked about two years ago, he was not in his best form.
But the last IPL and T20 were one of the best tournaments for him. Also, when you are playing in countries like West Indies and America.
So there are a lot of unknown pitches and here you need experienced players like Kohli and Rohit Sharma both on and off the field.”
