WIW vs IREW: Ireland team announced for West Indies tour Ireland Cricket Board has announced the women’s team for West Indies tour. ODI and T20 games are to be played between the two teams.
In this tour, there will be 3 ODIs under the ICC Women’s Championship. Along with this, the same number of T20 matches will also be played.

The captaincy of the Ireland women’s team has been handed over to Laura Denali. All the matches of this tour will be held at the St. Lucia Cricket Ground.
Amy Maguire included in the team for the first time:-
Ireland women’s cricket team coach Ed Joyce said that Amy Maguire was selected for the first time in the national team, while all the other players have got some experience and have played a few matches in their careers.
He further added that Amy Maguire has joined the team for her first tour. He’s a really exciting young left-arm spinner, it’s a role we’re really trying to strengthen.
Coach Ed Joyce also talked about registering their first win in the ICC Women’s Championship.
Joyce admitted that it will not be an easy task for his team as they do not play this format regularly.
