Women’s World Cup 2022: Indian captain Mithali Raj won the toss and elected to bat first. Yastika Bhatia and Smriti Mandhana put on 49 runs for the first wicket.
Bhatia was dismissed for 31 runs in 21 balls. After this, India suffered two setbacks. Captain Mithali Raj was dismissed for 5 runs, and Deepti Sharma returned to the pavilion after scoring 15 runs.
