World Cup 2023: Pakistan’s team may be out of the 2023 ODI World Cup to be held in India. Apart from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and South Africa are also in danger of being eliminated from this tournament.

According to the rules of ICC, these teams will qualify for the World Cup :-

According to the ICC rules, the team in the first seven places in the Cricket World Cup Super League and the team hosting the tournament will directly qualify for the World Cup. At the same time, the remaining five teams will have to play the qualifying rounds with the associate countries and the first two teams here will make it to the World Cup.

India and the first seven teams of the Super League will directly make the place in the WC :-

A total of 13 teams involved in the ICC’s ODI World Cup 2023 Super League. Apart from the 12 Test playing countries of the ICC, the team of Netherlands is part of it. Netherlands has made it to this league by winning the Cricket Super League 2015-17.

Now out of these 13 teams, India and the first seven teams of the Super League will directly make it to the World Cup. At the same time, the remaining five teams may have to struggle.

These teams may have trouble making a place in the World Cup 2023 :-

At present, the teams of New Zealand, Pakistan and South Africa are not included in the first seven teams. If these teams do not perform well in the coming matches, they may have to play qualifying rounds with the associate countries.

From where the top two teams will get a place in the World Cup. If these three teams play the qualifying round, then one team will be eliminated. Here, South Africa and New Zealand can do better to knock Pakistan out of the World Cup.

World Cup 2023 Super League Status :-

In the Super League, Bangladesh team is at first and England is at second place. Afghanistan is third and West Indies fourth. India is in fifth place and Australia is in sixth place.

All these teams are almost certain to qualify directly in the World Cup. At the same time, New Zealand at number nine and Pakistan at number ten may have to face trouble. South Africa at number 11 is also in trouble.
