Spinner R Ashwin, Axar Patel, and all-rounder Shardul Thakur will also be with the team’s support staff, led by Rahul Dravid.
BCCI source told:-
The WTC final will be played at The Oval from June 7 to 11. A BCCI source said, “There will be two or three batches in all.
The first batch will leave tomorrow at 4.30 am. The players who will be back in India for the IPL playoffs include skipper Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Shubman Gill, Mohammed Shami, KS Bharat, and Ajinkya Rahane.
Most Players of the Indian team IPL:-
Cheteshwar Pujara is already playing county cricket in England. While most of the players in the Indian team are going into the title clash two months after the IPL, only three Australians have played in the richest T20 league.
Last week, the great Ricky Ponting had said that while the Australians will be better prepared mentally for the final, the Indians will have valuable playing time behind them.
