WTC Final 2023 Date: The final of the World Test Championship will be held at The Oval. The official dates for the ICC World Test Championship 2021-23 final to be played at The Oval this year have been announced.

Won the inaugural edition by eight wickets:-

The final of the second edition of the ICC World Test Championship will be played from June 7 to 11 with a reserve day (June 12) at The Oval, London. New Zealand won the inaugural edition, defeating India by eight wickets in the 2021 final in Southampton.

Australia top the nine-team points table for the ongoing cycle with 75.56 points percentage. India is at second position after Australia with a 58.93 marks percentage.

Four-match Test series to begin in Nagpur:-

Both the teams will face each other in a four-match Test series starting from February 9 in Nagpur and the result of this series will be crucial in choosing the two finalist teams of the World Test Championship.

Sri Lanka (53.33%) and South Africa (48.72%) are at the third and fourth places respectively. Both these teams will depend on their results as well as the results of India and Australia series to reach the final.

Both these teams have a chance. Sri Lanka have to play a two-Test series against New Zealand, while South Africa will play a two-match home series against the West Indies.

NZ vs Sri Lanka series:-

• Sri Lanka vs New Zealand (1st Test) – Christchurch, New Zealand, March 9-13
