WTC Final 2023: Dinesh Karthik’s big statement on Rahane’s comeback. Said- ‘The next 6-8 months are important for him’. Ajinkya has returned to Team India thanks to his excellent performance in IPL 2023 and domestic cricket.

He has been given a place in the team for the World Test Championship to be held next month. Wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik has expressed happiness over his brilliant comeback. Along with this, Karthik has also given him some advice.

Rahane’s strong performance in IPL:-

Rahane was bought by CSK at his base price in the 2023 mini-auction. He was called into action following an injury to Ben Stokes and went on to make the number 3 spot his own in the batting order.

The Mumbai-born batsman has scored 299 runs in 10 innings in IPL 2023 at a strike rate of 169.89. Everyone is surprised to see his batting skills.

Dinesh Karthik said this:-

Seeing Rahane back to his best form ahead of the WTC final, Dinesh Karthik has told the ICC on his comeback that “I think he has got his spirit back.

He is in good form, he is in good confidence, and he has always been known to do well outside India. These six to eight months are going to be very important for his career in Test cricket.”

He further added that “when he came back he did very well for CSK. The way he has batted, the intent he has shown, he has shown that he is in a good mindset and that is something that is very important for a batsman.”
