Jaiswal performed brilliantly in IPL 2023. He has scored 625 runs in 14 matches. For this reason, he got a place in Team India.
He was not a part of the team earlier but the teamโs standby player Rituraj Gaikwad was ruled out of the WTC finals due to marriage and Yashasvi Jaiswal replaced him.
