WTC Final: There will be no sponsor on Team India’s jersey in WTC Final 2023. Most of the players of the Indian team have reached London for the WTC Final 2023 and have also started practicing for this important match.

But in the midst of all this, the players and support staff of the Indian team have been seen in a new jersey, on which only the BCCI logo and the three-stripes Adidas logo have been placed, nothing else is visible.

Adidas is the new kit sponsor of Team India. Until now, the main sponsor of the Indian team was Byju’s, which terminated the deal in March.

BCCI’s agreement was till November 2023:-

Although the agreement between Byju’s and BCCI was till November 2023, the condition of the ed-tech company in the market is not good.

In such a situation, the partnership between the two broke down and they separated. BCCI is going to float a tender for a long-term partnership soon.

“It would be appropriate that Indian cricket associates with reputed and long-term partners rather than low-key deals,” said a BCCI official.

In the previous deal, the BCCI was earning ₹1.5 crores per ICC match and ₹4.6 crore per match for bilateral internationals.

ICC events have increased importance in planning:-

Although with time, the importance of ICC events has increased in the scheme of things, a few crores for a match is just a drop in the ocean for the cash-rich BCCI. It’s a hit they’re willing to take.

The WTC Final 2023 match between India vs Australia will be played at The Oval from June 7. In this match, a tough competition can be seen between India and Australia.
