Cricket Scotland: Mens and Womens professional contracts announced for 2023-24

Cricket Scotland professional contracts announced for 2023-24: Cricket Scotland is today delighted to confirm the men’s and women’s players who have signed professional contracts with the organisation for the 2023-2024 season.

Today’s announcement follows on from confirmation last November that, for the first time, paid contracts would be offered to women’s international team players, while it also builds on the introduction in 2021 of equal match fees for men’s and women’s players.

In total, fourteen men’s contracts and nine women’s contracts have been issued for the current season by Cricket Scotland, with varying bands recognising the needs of players and the organisation.

Richie Berrington, Matthew Cross, Ally Evans, Chris Greaves, Jack Jarvis, Michael Leask, Chris McBride, Brandon McMullen, George Munsey, Liam Naylor, Safyaan Sharif, Chris Sole, Hamza Tahir, Mark Watt

Womens Contract :-

Abbi Aitken-Drummond, Priyanaz Chatterji, Katherine Fraser, Lorna Jack, Ailsa Lister, Megan McColl, Orla Montgomery, Hannah Rainey, Ellen Watson

This season’s contracts run from :-

Cricket Scotland: This season’s contracts run from April 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024, inclusive. The selection was undertaken by a panel during February and March this year, while the process and negotiation of the contracts included consultation with the Scottish Cricketer’s Association.
