Yashasvi Jaiswal will play in IPL Auction 2021

Jaiswal was born on 28 December 2021 in Suriayawan, Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh. He is an Indian cricketer who plays for India under 19s and Mumbai. Yashasvi is the youngster who will be part of IPL 2021.

The 19-year-old youngster was bought by Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2020 auction for Rs. 2.4 crore. He played 3 matches for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2020 scoring 40 runs. He was awarded Man Of The Tournament for his good performance in the U-19 World Cup in South Africa in 2020. Jaiswal is a left-handed batsman and a leg-break bowler, He will again represent Rajasthan Royles in 2021.

Jaiswal’s journey started seven years ago when he was only 11 years old. He landed in Mumbai with a heart full of dreams. However, it was not just cricket that took up his time; he had to work hard to sustain a living as it was difficult for his father, who owns a shop in Bhadohi. Jaiswal practiced, or played, in the day-time, and sold panipuri in the evening before sleeping in one of the groundsmen’s tents. 

It was in 2019 when he grabbed the attention of the national media. Jaiswal became the youngest cricketer to score a double century in a Vijay Hazare Trophy game when he blasted 203 off 154 balls for Mumbai against Jharkhand.

Earlier Career

Jaiswal was the first come to the Limelight in 2015 when he scored 319 not out and took 13/99 in a Giles Shield match, an All-around record in school cricket, which has recognized by Limca Book Of Records. Yashasvi selected in the Mumbai-16 squad followed by India under-19s. He was the highest run-scorer (318 runs) and player of the tournament at the 2018 ACC-Under-19 Asia Cup which India won.

Senior Career –

On 16 October 2019, he scored 203 runs off 154 balls in a Vijay Hazare Trophy match against Jharkhand. His knock included 17 fours and 12 sixes against a bowling attack consisting of Varun Aron and Shahbaz Nadeem. Jaiswal was named in the India B squad for the 2019-20, Deodhar Trophy. His first-class debut for Mumbai in the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy on 7 January 2019.

Once, while he was practicing in the nets, the local coach, Jwala Singh, spotted him. Yashasvi soon moved to Singh’s place, who took care of him, provided him with everything, and trained him every day. He also encouraged Yashasvi to take part in competitions.
