Saqib Mahmood is an English cricketer who plays for Lancashire, and also for Sydney Thunder in the Australian Big Bash League. He is a right-arm fast bowler, who bats right-handed. In December 2015.

Mahmood’s parents are from Pakistan and, due to his heritage. He was refused permission to enter India to join the England Lions squad during their tour of India in January and February 2019. He was eventually replaced by Tom Bailey.

In April 2019, Mahmood became the first bowler for Lancashire to take a five-wicket haul in successive List A matches, when he did so in the 2019 Royal London One-Day Cup.
