ICC Rankings: Long Jump of Kiwi Bowler Matt Henry, De Kock Slips Down Four Places, Sri Lankan Bowler’s Entry in top 10

New Delhi, Sports Desk. There some major changes in the latest rankings released by the ICC. New Zealand fast bowler Matt Henry has got the benefit of rocking his bowling in the ODI series played between Sri Lanka and New Zealand. Henry has jumped five places.

Matt Henry Long Jump

Matt Henry has now reached the fifth position in the ODI rankings for bowlers. There is now only 29 points separating Henry and number one ODI bowler Pat Cummins. Henry bowled brilliantly in the last ODI against Sri Lanka, taking 3 wickets for just 14 runs. New Zealand all-rounder Daryl Mitchell has moved up five places in the T20 rankings for batsmen. Mitchell played a brilliant inning of 66 runs in the last T20 match.

Mahesh Tikshana Entered in top 10

Sri Lankan spin bowler Mahesh Teekshana has been rewarded for bowling the best in the T20 series. Teekshana has now moved up three places to enter the top 10 in the T20I rankings for bowlers. The Sri Lankan spinner has now reached the 10th position. At the same time, Sri Lankan middle order batsman Charith Aslanka has jumped 12 places and has reached number 23.

Markram Reached the Best Ranking

South African batsman Adam Markram has achieved his best ever ranking in T20 cricket. Markram has jumped 13 places to reach number 41.

However, the team’s opener Quinton de Kock has lost four places in the ODI rankings and has now slipped to number seven. The crown of the number one batsman in ODI cricket rests on the head of Babar Azam.
