England Opener batter Tammy Beaumont climbed five places to reach the top position in ICC Women ODI Ranking in batting

Tammy Beaumont showed her outstanding performance in the three-match one-day international series against the England Women and New Zealand Women won the series by 2-1

The 29-year-old Beaumont from Kent has overtaken West Indian Stafanie Taylor, New Zealand’s Amy Satterthwaite, and Meg Lanning

This is for the first time in her 12-year ODI career that Beaumont is No. 1, her previous best being the fourth position in July 2019.

England batter Natalie Sciver also placed into the top 10 after scoring 96 runs in the series

Natalie Sciver, who bowls medium pace, has also progressed 12 places to a career-best 22nd in the list of bowlers after finishing with five wickets in the series.

India opener batter Smriti Mandhana has dropped down two slots in the ICC women batting ranking, she is now sixth place with 732 points

Mithali Raj has maintained her ninth spot with the point of 687

India Women will play five one-day internationals and 3 T20 International in the South Africa Women Tour of India series starting on March 7.

Smriti Mandhana has a chance to improve her ICC rankings and South African player Laura Wolward is just one place below Smriti Mandhana.
