In the ICC Women’s ODI Rankings, Richa Ghosh and Deepti Sharma made big advances in the batsmen’s chart. Meanwhile, among the batsmen, Mithali Raj remains at number two with 741 points, while Alyssa Healy of Australia is at the top with 749 points.

Despite India’s disappointing performance so far in the five-match Women’s ODI series in New Zealand, the latest ICC ODI rankings had some positives for the tourists. In Smriti Mandhana’s absence, Sabbhineni Meghna grabbed the opportunity with both hands with her innings of 49 and 61 to move up 113 places to 67th in the batsmen’s list.

New Zealand all-rounder Amelia Kerr has broken into the top 10 of the ODI all-rounders’ list in the latest ICC Player Rankings. Amelia scored centuries and half-centuries in the second and third ODIs, helping her climb the charts of batsmen and all-rounders in the weekly ICC rankings update.

In the second ODI, Kerr went inside the powerplay while the White Ferns were chasing 271 to get the team out of trouble at 55/3. Kerr shared a 128-run partnership with Maddie Green for the fourth wicket. He batted till the end, scoring 119 not out off 135 balls as New Zealand chased down the target with one over to spare.

Fellow Kiwi Lauren Down also climbed the ladder in the third ODI with a match-winning 64* off 52 balls. She moved up 14 places to reach the top 50 to be ranked 49th for batsmen.
