IND vs ENG, Test: England team reached Hyderabad for the first test against India, ECB shared video

IND vs ENG, Test: India vs England 5 match test series is going to start from 25th January. The first match of the series will be played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad and the visiting team has reached Hyderabad for this match on Sunday night, 20th January.

England Cricket Board gave this information by posting a video on social media. The England team is coming to India to play a Test series after two years. The last time the English team toured India was in 2021 when the hosts defeated England 3-1.

England was welcomed in a very grand manner in Hyderabad :-

England team reached Hyderabad: England was welcomed with great enthusiasm in Hyderabad. Fans were eager to take pictures of the English players at the airport, while they were welcomed in the traditional style by getting vaccinated in the hotel.

IND vs ENG, Test: Dan Lawrence got place in English squad :-

Before this Test match starting from January 25, the host team has suffered a big setback. The team’s explosive batsman Harry Brook has been ruled out of the India tour due to personal reasons. Dan Lawrence has got a place in the English squad as his replacement.

When England played a Test series in India for the last time in 2021, Lawrence took the field in three matches. India won the four-match series 3-1. Lawrence scored just 149 runs in 6 innings, in which there was one fifty. He returned to the pavilion at zero in one innings. Lawrence has played a total of 11 Tests in his career and has scored 551 runs at an average of 29.00.
