IND vs NZ: India team’s star all-rounder Hardik Pandya won another series for the Indian team under his captaincy. In the deciding match of the three T20I series played in Ahmedabad on Wednesday, India defeated New Zealand and captured the series 2-1.

During the press conference after winning the series, Hardik said –

“Winning this award doesn’t matter to me. There were a lot of people who had exceptional performances throughout the series. I dedicate this player of the series and trophy to all the support staff.”

Shubman Gill scored an unbeaten 126 runs, while captain Hardik Pandya took 4 wickets for 16 runs in the match. Also played an inning of 30 runs off 17 balls.

Hardik said – choice played on its own terms

Regarding his batting and bowling, Hardik said – “To be honest, I have always played like this. I don’t make any pre-planned ideas. I like to keep things simple. My simple rule is, if I If I come down, it will go on my own terms. We have taken challenges as a team before.”
