IND vs SA, 2nd Test: “Why is a weak Test player the captain of Team India?”

IND vs SA, 2nd Test: Indian captain Rohit Sharma is facing a lot of criticism after suffering an innings defeat in the first match of the two-match Test series against South Africa. Not only was he a flop as a captain in the Centurion Test, he also could not make any contribution to Team India as a batsman.

Former Indian cricketer Badrinath targeted Rohit Sharma :-

In such a situation, cricket experts are raising questions about his captaincy as well as his place in the Test team. In this sequence, former Indian cricketer Badrinath has even said that a weak Test cricketer is captaining India in the red ball game. He has also suggested to once again hand over the Test captaincy to Virat in place of Rohit.

On his YouTube channel, Badrinath has said, ‘Why is Virat Kohli not captaining Team India in Test cricket? I want to raise this legitimate question. He is a better test player. There is no comparison between him and Rohit Sharma.

Rohit’s flop test record in SENA :-

Although Rohit Sharma has a good test record, he has flopped badly in test cricket in SENA (South Africa, England, New Zealand and Australia). Rohit has played 21 test matches in these four countries and has scored 1182 runs at an average of just 30. During this period he has been able to score only one century. On the contrary, Virat Kohli’s record in these countries has been excellent.
