IND vs SA, 1st ODI: India defeated South Africa by eight wickets in the first ODI of the three-match series on Sunday. India achieved the target in 16.4 overs for the loss of two wickets after bowling out South Africa for 116 runs in 27.3 overs.
Sai Sudarshan (55 not out) and Shreyas Iyer (52) played half-century innings for India. This is the second biggest defeat for South Africa in ODIs in terms of balls remaining, while this is the fourth biggest win for India. With this win, India has taken a 1-0 lead in the series.
