IND VS SA: Arshdeep Singh may not have played many T20 Internationals yet, but the young fast bowler has consistently impressed with his bowling. Arshdeep took three wickets for 32 runs in four overs in the first T20 International of the three-match series against South Africa. In the first spell, he broke the back of the South African batting line-up. After the match, the vice-captain KL Rahul praised him fiercely.

IND VS SA: The opener said, ‘His game is improving with every match. He is a player of big heart (maintains restraint under pressure). I have seen him closely while representing Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League. “We always wanted to have a left-arm fast bowler in the team and it’s great to have an option like Arshdeep,” KL Rahul said.

IND vs SA: Arshdeep Singh was the man of the match

India won the first match by eight wickets and Arshdeep Singh was adjudged man of the match. KL Rahul made 51 and Suryakumar Yadav played not out innings of 50 runs. The pitch of the Greenfield International Stadium was helping the fast bowlers a lot. Arshdeep and Deepak Chahar also took full advantage of this.
