IND vs SA T20: Emotional father on Umran Malik ‘s selection said son will bring glory to the country
IND vs SA T20: Team India has to play a five-match T20 series against South Africa next month. The Indian team has been announced by the BCCI for this series.
As expected, lethal fast bowler Umran Malik has been given place in this team. Umran has got the fruits of his good performance in IPL. His father is very happy with Umran’s selection.

IND vs SA T20: Umran’s father is very happy on the selection of Umran :-
The father of fast bowler Umran Malik, who made it to the Indian team for the home T20 International series against South Africa, is unable to express his happiness in words.
Malik’s father Abdul Rashid is a fruit seller and he had been dreaming of his son getting selected in the Indian team for the last two months.
Umran did wonders in his first IPL season while playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad :-
21-year-old Malik from Jammu and Kashmir took 21 wickets in 13 matches of IPL but more than these wickets, he made more headlines for his continuous bowling at 150 kmph. With the selection of the team, after 5 o’clock in the evening, there was a flood of congratulatory messages on Rashid’s phone.
In an interview given to PTI-language over phone from Jammu, he said, ‘A large number of people are coming to congratulate me. I am going home now and will join the celebration. Just saw the news on the internet. What can be a bigger achievement than wearing the jersey of the national team.
IND vs SA T20: People got a lot of support to play for Umran’s country :-
A tinge of happiness could be felt in his voice. He has made us all proud with his performance in the IPL and the way the entire nation supported him; we can only express our gratitude as a family to him.
My Umran has got the support of the whole country. Rashid and his wife made many sacrifices to take Umran forward in the game but he himself does not want to take any credit.
On the basis of his performance, Umran was confident :-
Umran Malik ‘s father said, ‘Umran believed that one day he would achieve success. He had full faith in his skill and talent and worked hard for it. This is completely his success and also the blessings of the above. He worked hard and Allah supported him. I don’t deserve to take credit for his hard work.

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha also congratulated Umran Malik on his selection in the Indian team for the five-match T20I series against South Africa.
